In this session, you will learn how to gently release tension, stress & trauma from the nervous system and become more loose and natural. At the same time, you will increase your capacity for self-regulation and grounding – both essential skills for navigating through life. These exercises are gentle and non-cathartic, so you can always feel safe and comfortable.

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) consist of a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return to a state of natural balance.

It is a set of stretches and exercises designed to induce the body's natural neurogenic tremors. Neurogenic tremors are involuntary muscle twitches and spasms caused by the nervous system, which Dr. Berceli believes are a built-in mechanism to help the body release trauma and stress.

Why TRE®?

TRE® is a safe and effective stress-release technique for most people. The exercises are perfect supplements for any process of trauma recovery and are an excellent self-regulation tool for built-up tension in the body.
